Dexter is an amazing program on Showtime about a serial killer who kills killers. Dexter works as a forensic blood analysis expert, his job has helped him to find many of his potential victims. His adopted father sensed the fact that Dexter was a natural born killer and helped him to hone his skills so that he would never get caught. His father explains to him that he can't change who he is but maybe he can use who is is for good. Dexter's father, a policeman, continues to mentor Dexter and teaches him to blend in to society. Dexter lives by his father's code, and only kills those whom deserve to die.
Now Dexter struggles to find himself because he lacks emotion and feelings, only when killing his victims can his true side be unleashed. I am about half way through the first season, but I find myself becoming addicted to this show. Every episode is satisfying, for Dexter always seems to make a kill. There is also a deep sub plot involving the "ice truck killer", who found Dexter and is sending messages to him through his own killings. Dexter is intrigued by this "colleague" of his, and wants to play the "ice truck killers" games. I will continue to watch this show.
